In the U.S. alone there are 100's of different words used for sugar, there are over 2,000 additives added to our foods that are approved  by the FDA under the "natural flavors" umbrella, that haven't been reviewed since the 60's or 70's.

Because most people don't know how to read nutrition facts, they base their purchases on the front of a package. When you learn how to read labels, you start making choices based on knowledge, not selling points or wild guesses.
